Community News
We're thrilled to announce that °®Âþµº will have a team running at the Peak2Park on Sunday, 1 March 2026.
The Peak2Park is a simple fun run that has grown into Toowoomba's largest community wellbeing event, uniting schools, families, and friends in the spirit of health, connection, and giving back. Over the years, the event has raised nearly half a million dollars for local charities, and this year, funds will go towards supporting Momentum Mental Health. Whether walking, running, or cheering from the sidelines, every step helps strengthen our community.
This year, the Peak2Park School Challenge is proudly sponsored by Finch Legal, with a $1,500 gift card prize to be awarded to a student from a participating school team.
How it works
· Anyone who registers as part of our school team goes into the draw
· One bib number will be randomly selected from all school team entries, and the school that bib number is registered under will win the $1,500 gift card
· The more °®Âþµº members, the more chances we have to win
It’s a simple and fun way to encourage whole-school participation, movement, and connection, while also supporting Momentum Mental Health through this year’s Peak2Park event. Whether your school community walk or run the 4km or 10km, every entry counts toward your school’s chances in the draw.
If your interested in taking part in this event, you can register here: . On the day make sure to wear °®Âþµº colours so everyone knows your apart of our team.
Music over the holidays
Keeping our music extending into the holidays, many students from both our Junior and Senior campuses continued their own musical ventures over the break. We are so grateful for the skills, inspiration, and renewed energy they’ve brought back into our rehearsals and ensemble spaces. What a great way to stay connected, grow as musicians, and represent our community through opportunities such as QBA Brass Band Camp, TRYO Animated Summer Music Camp, Con Brass Days, and the UQ Brass Discovery Day.
Well done Annabelle, Levi, Jacob, Tim, Adelaide, Hana, Lucy, Kaylee and Zoe!

SSC Interhouse Swimming Carnival
Our Interhouse Swimming Carnival is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to make a splash together! This year, we’re turning up the fun with a special theme:
Come dressed as your favourite movie character — but make sure your outfit matches your House colours! Think creatively, dress boldly, and show off your House spirit in true cinematic style.
Whether you’re racing for points or cheering from the sidelines, this is your moment to shine. Bring your enthusiasm, represent your House with pride, and most importantly… let’s swim!
See you poolside!
