Whether you are guiding learning in the classroom, keeping our grounds beautiful and clean, ensuring systems run smoothly, caring for our boarders, helping to fit uniforms, supporting families in the front office, creating events, helping students feel known and valued, or quietly working behind the scenes, your work makes a difference.

Thank you for your dedication, your compassion, your professionalism and your heart.

Beautiful Table crafted by four of our talented Year 10 students

Crafted with skill, patience and a lot of teamwork, our Year 10 students have created stunning resin and wood coffee tables as part of their Preferred Futures project. Cooper, Klim, Tharun and Linden designed, built and costed every element themselves, learning about design, budgeting, welding, teamwork and the real value of craftsmanship along the way. "Making furniture seemed easy at first,” they said. “But now, when we see a finished table in a store, we think about the hours that go into it.”Three tables have already been sold, and this final one is now available for purchase. Made from beautiful Camphor Laurel with a resin finish, the table is priced at $800.The team would love to see it go to a good home! If interested, contact the College to find out more.

JC Christmas for the Bush

It has become a tradition in our Junior College to support the amazing work of Care Outreach by contributing to their Christmas For The Bush program.

Care Outreach has been supporting outback families for over 30 years. Christmas for the Bush is an annual event, delivering Christmas hampers and gifts to struggling families in rural and remote regions. Farming families work incredibly hard. Loss of income, isolation and depression are some of the issues these families deal with on a daily basis. Care Outreach works to bring encouragement, support and hope to farming families in need.

In Term 4, the Junior College is again supporting Care Outreach with their Christmas for the Bush appeal. You can help by donating...

  • Non-perishable food and Christmas treats
  • Toys and family gifts
  • Toiletries
  • Pre-paid visa cards

Donation baskets have been placed in every classroom. 100% goes to our farmers! For specific needs, please visit and click on the 'Christmas for the Bush' tab.

Care Outreach are excited to have our support again this year, and we look forward to assisting their Christmas for the Bush campaign. Thank you for considering this worthwhile appeal.

Christmas for the Bush will conclude with a Junior College Chapel Service lead by our Year 1 students in the SSC Chapel on Friday 7 November at 9.30am. Everyone is invited to come along.

Art Show Update

Over the years, our Art Show has been a wonderful celebration of creativity, colour, and imagination across our school community. The event showcases the incredible artistic talents of our students and the joy they find in expressing themselves through art.

This year, we have decided to make the Art Show a biennial event, meaning it will now be held every second year. This change will allow even more time for students to explore different artistic techniques and create a broader range of work to share and celebrate.

While we won’t be hosting the Art Show in 2025, we are already looking forward to bringing it back in 2026, when our students’ creativity will once again take centre stage.

Thank you for your ongoing support of the arts at . We can’t wait to share another inspiring showcase with you in the near future.
